Hi Marisa, First off thanks so much for getting the word out about my books--I appreciate it so very much! Unsurprisingly, I have a lot of favorite books--some that top the list are: Great Expectations, To The Lighthouse, The Sound and the Fury, The Hours, While I Was Gone, anything by Laura Lippman, Megan Abbott or Gillian Flynn, The Weight if Water, The House of Sand and Fog, Another Brooklyn, when Breath Becomes Air.

In "Reconstructing Amelia", I kept hoping something would happen and Amelia would actually be alive (she was dreaming it all, somehow changed the past, etc). Don't get me wrong, I loved the story, and having lost my sister, there was a lot I appreciated about your description of grieving someone who dies too young. I'm just wondering if at any time during your writing process you considered something like this?
