Hi Jacqueline,
Glad you're enjoying the stories. As for travelling further away from the main branch of the Argeneau family, that's because the main branch is all paired off and settled. Martine's girls are the only ones from the first four or five books who aren't, but they're still pretty young...just finishing university last I checked. So I had to move out to other characters.
