Claudi Feldhaus
Claudi Feldhaus asked Elisabeth Elo:

Dear Ms Elo, I read North Boston a second time now. It's the german version "Die Frau Die Nie Fror" and yes, it's one of my favorite books. So thanks as first for this brilliant work! Now I have a question. While reading I noticed that we learn Pirios hair color really late. Was that your intention? And if yes than why? Best wishes from Berlin Claudi Feldhaus

Elisabeth Elo Dear Claudi, First, let me apologize for responding so late! I wasn't even aware of your question until just now. I have to learn how to use this website better, obviously. Second, I'm so glad you like North of Boston. It was a lot of fun to write and it really makes me happy when people enjoy it, too. About Pirio's hair color: I always thought of her as having dark hair and wasn't aware of exactly when in the book I mentioned it. I probably held off because I actually don't like it when the author gives a physical description of the protagonist. I like to imagine the character for myself. But I guess you do have to give some description, so I just try to keep it short. Do you prefer to have more of a description? I'd be interested to know. In the meantime, thank you for writing. Your support and encouragement mean a lot. Elisabeth
