Hi Penelope! I have a couple questions.. first if I remember correctly you saying you were bullied when you were younger. If so, did your bully or anyone who affected you negatively ever try to contact you to apologize? My second question is when creating your Playlist, do you already have a certain Playlist created while writing or do you have everything on shuffle and use the songs that inspire you most?

Hi, Jessica!
Actually, no. There's been no further contact between me and the kids from when I was younger. Not even from high school. I think that's why I love these types of stories. School was a such a miserable experience, but now I can do it again vicariously and control the outcome. It's therapeutic, I guess ;)
And the playlists are actually a combination. I will hear songs on my iPod or usually Sirius XM Octane and jot it down to add to a playlist for now or in the future. I have a "To Use" playlist for songs I like and want to use, but haven't fit them into a story yet, too. For Corrupt, Bullet with a Name On It and You're Going Down were songs I discovered as the book ended and wanted on the playlist, so I added them in. It's either pre-meditated (added before I start writing the book) or just plain luck that I'll hear it and add it.
Thanks for the questions!

I just finished Misconduct and I literally have taken away some teaching strategies I plan to implement! And your descriptions of New Orleans were really spot on (which almost never happens) so awesome job. I'm curious if you're planning a book on Kai from Corrupt? When I say "I'm curious" what I really mean is "Please write a book for Kai." But this question needed to contain a question mark, so there it is.

Is there gonna be A LOT of sex in Corrupt? I'm really excited/can't wait for your book, but I hope the plot isn't mainly the characters having sex. I hope there's a lot of romance before they start f*cking all the time. Most of the book these days are 90% sex, and it gets really boring after 2 scenes. I have really high hopes since I loved your previous books.
