Jessica asked Penelope Douglas:

Hi Penelope! I have a couple questions.. first if I remember correctly you saying you were bullied when you were younger. If so, did your bully or anyone who affected you negatively ever try to contact you to apologize? My second question is when creating your Playlist, do you already have a certain Playlist created while writing or do you have everything on shuffle and use the songs that inspire you most?

Penelope Douglas Hi, Jessica!

Actually, no. There's been no further contact between me and the kids from when I was younger. Not even from high school. I think that's why I love these types of stories. School was a such a miserable experience, but now I can do it again vicariously and control the outcome. It's therapeutic, I guess ;)

And the playlists are actually a combination. I will hear songs on my iPod or usually Sirius XM Octane and jot it down to add to a playlist for now or in the future. I have a "To Use" playlist for songs I like and want to use, but haven't fit them into a story yet, too. For Corrupt, Bullet with a Name On It and You're Going Down were songs I discovered as the book ended and wanted on the playlist, so I added them in. It's either pre-meditated (added before I start writing the book) or just plain luck that I'll hear it and add it.

Thanks for the questions!
