where did you come up with the idea for anna dressed in blood? And what was the process that you went though well writing it?

Kendare Blake Anna came from a desire to write blood and guts. To get back to the creepy roots of my youth. One day, a ghost called Anna Dressed in Blood showed up, and we were off to the races. Looking back, the writing seems easy. I wasn't on deadline, and Cas is such a strong narrator. He talks; I type. No problem.
