I actually don't know what Sophie is going to do. I don't pre-plan anything emotional for any of my characters. I write simply by asking scene by scene, "okay, what are they going to do NOW?" And things change as plot elements happens to them, and as they grow up. So I won't know until I get there who/if she'll be choosing anyone.
