Firstly, amazing work on the book. I don't know how many times I closed the book, looked at a friend and said "holy crap" or "what a f-ing bastard". Secondly, what would Jack have done to Millie if Grace hadn't done what she did? Did he just wanted lock her up and enjoy her going mad?

(view spoiler)[Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, you're right, Jack wanted to lock Millie up somewhere terrifying and listen to her going mad with fear. Your opinion of him is spot on! (hide spoiler)]

Okay, can you tell us more about what happens after Behind Closed Doors, does Grace sale the house or stay there? Does she get his money to start a life for her and Millie? Does Grace move to New Zealand or stay around all his old friends? Do the police suspect her? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS, but I loved every single page!!! Amazing job, can't wait to read another book by you!

I absolutely loved your book. Yet I have one question. At the dinner party where she meets Esther for the first time, Grace's other paintings are mentioned to the other guests as being for their eyes only. So how is she going to explain to the police the paintings in the basement are not hers? Where are the other paintings then? Sorry, like inspector Columbo, I can be rather annoying ;-)
