Hi. I loved, loved, loved Dark Matter. I couldn't put the book down. Since you do a ton of research before writing your books, does that include outlines? And how has your process changed with television? I don't particularly like outlines no matter how useful they're supposed to be. I prefer to bungee jump into a story, live with the characters, and fight my way through it. You?

Blake Crouch I do a combination of both. Instead of outlining I spend a lot of time (months usually) journaling and taking general notes about the book before I dive in. I have tried the bungee jump method before and it usually ends up with me hitting a brick wall about 50 pages in.

While reading wayward pines, I was intrigued by the mention of the spyderco harpy knife, and went to amazon to check it out. I ended up ordering one, but what was funny was all the mention of wayward pines plot elements among the people commenting on the product. have you gotten any word of thanks from spyderco for giving them such a boost?
