Laura Nowlin That varies from book to book, author to author. For me, about a year for a first draft of a novel.

Have you ever considered writing a sequel to “If he had been with me” telling the story from Funny’s perspective. I just bought this book a few weeks ago and I’ve almost finished it for the 5th time. It is just such a good book and the storyline is understandable and it could easily relate to people my age, i love it and would LOVE funny’s side! would you consider writing that?
