perksofabookblogger asked Leisa Rayven:

You are probably my favourite author. No wait, forget that probably. You are my favourite author. I love your books as much as I love my tv-shows. And I'll tell you .. nothing competes against my tv-shows. So my question: What was your absolutely favourite scene/part from Bad Romeo, Broken Juliet, Wicked Heart and Bad Romeo Christmas?

Leisa Rayven Well, now I'm blushing. I'm completely honored that I'm your favorite author. Thank you so much!
Fave scene? Yikes! That's a tough one. In Bad Romeo, I think it would be the first time Ethan and Cassie kiss backstage at the theater. There's just something about first kisses that I love. It's crossing that line that can never be uncrossed. After the first kiss, you can never forget the feel of their lips. The taste of their mouth. It's just so lush and tingly.
In Broken Juliet, I think my favorite scene is where Ethan and Cassie get drunk in her apartment after a party, and they both admit how much they've missed each other. (Then, of course, they fuck like rabbits all night, and it starts their second time around trying to be together.) I loved the ache and longing I felt while writing that.
In Wicked Heart, I loved the scene in the rain. I pictured that scene ages before I wrote it, and once again, it's that moment of delicious tension right before the final thread of self restraint snaps that I find intoxicating to write.
In Bad Romeo Christmas, I had a lot of fave scenes, but I did love writing Josh's dance-off. There's something about that ridiculous hot-geek that I adore.
Thank you so much for your question, honey!
Leisa x
