Lynsay- How do you write a series. What I mean is how do you connect the characters or figure out how they fit into prior books. Do you take notes on the characters so that you don't make mistakes on the characters? PS: I really enjoy your writing, and love that I get lost in the adventure by page 2 every time!

Lynsay Sands I don't pre-plan who will get that next book and what their story line will be...which is why I'm never sure who the next book will be about. I wait for the characters to come forward with their stories, which sounds weird, but c'est la vie. We takes copious notes on each book after it's written trying to keep things in order, but mistakes still happen...usually when I get wrapped up in a story and don't want to stop and find out whether I ever said they preferred showers to baths (Marguerite originally preferred showers, but in her own story preferred baths...or was it the other way around? I can't recall) Anyway, mistakes will always crop up. I'm only human.
