Hi! I wanted to know which books you love inspired you to write? :)

Roshani Chokshi Ahhh, so so so many! Definitely His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, Keturah and Lord Death by Martine Leavitt, and a variety of poems (in particular the Sanskrit epic, the Mahabharata). Since writing The Star-Touched Queen, there's a couple other books that I reread over and over because the prose and worldbuilding gives me life...those books are Deathless by Catherynne Valente, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, and Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
