In my heart of hearts, yes, I think Riley is alive. Do I think he "made it," in terms of being sober? Maybe. Addiction is a day-to-day struggle and Riley has so many things to confront and work on before he can begin the process of healing himself. I hope he makes it. I truly do. His songs are beautiful; he could be such an inspiration to others. Thank you for this great question!

Hey I finally finished girl in pieces. I bought it four years ago and stopped at page 50. Picked it up on Tuesday this week. Finished it in two days. I can’t help but think that I want more of this story, now that I have finished. Would you consider writing more in this world? I was reading that you would consider Louisa and her journals. I actually think that would make a fascinating concept. Or how about a prequel?
