Not as much of a question as it is a thank you, but I love that you have a deaf character, Hearth, in your books. Many authors don't have characters that have physical disabilities. Speaking as a teen with a disability, I was wondering if you are going to add another character with a disability in an upcoming book?

Rick Riordan Thanks! I try to create characters that fit the story I'm working on. For Hearth, I liked the idea of a magician of the spoken word (rune magic) who was also deaf. I'm not sure what sorts of characters will be included next, but I always like to keep my radar up and expand my range.
