I loved "Reconstructing Amelia" and "Where They Found her" But I hate profanity so was disappointed with Outliers #1. Is the language the same in #2?

I'm sorry you found some of the language used in THE OUTLIERS troubling--though it does actually have far (far) less profanity than either of my adult books. As for a comparison with THE SCATTERING, I don't really know because I have never attempted to make the comparison. I can promise you that I only (and always) use the language that is appropriate to the specific character at a specific moment in time and the story I am trying to tell. My question to you is how long did it take you before an agent signed you and were you constantly sending out queries? Thank you so much and I absolutely loved Reconstructing Amelia!
