I finished Ice Queen and now reading Mirror of My Soul. I feel so very bad for Marguerite, but I'm so glad she has Tyler. I think I'm in for more crying before this book is over. I haven't read Mac & Violets story yet, but had a question. I take it Mac is only a submissive to Violet, yet he isn't your usual sub?.....is he the same as Max is to Janet....alpha male, but not a sub like Noah or Gen are?

Good afternoon, Vettech! Thanks for the question. Mac falls somewhere in between Max and Noah. Like Noah, Mac embraces a submissive orientation. When he and Violet first meet, it's in a club where he is presenting as a submissive. Yet while Noah is more of a beta personality, Mac is very alpha, like Max, so it makes him a very different kind of sub to handle. By the end of Natural Law, he and Violet are of course committed exclusively to one another, but he has submitted to other Mistresses before they met. Does that make sense?

In Truly Helpless I could really see that Marius was even more tormented my his past than Marguerite. I know it's difficult to not compare the two and how much harder it was for Regina being female and Tyler being male to handle a troubled sub. Wondered what your take on this was?
