Alwyn Hamilton Thank you so much! That's so lovely of you to say, especially as I often find I struggle to write descriptions. They slow me down quite a lot when I tend to be a bit of a frantically quick drafter. I guess my advice would be don't try to capture every single thing. Instead focus in on a few important details and the general sensation gained from the environment by your protagonist, more than accurate precise description. At least that's how I try to think about it! But hope that might help you out too :-)
