What sort of research did you come across for the erotic film industry that Tyler is a part of? Some would say there is a very fine line between erotic & porn, though we know differently when you factor in romance & a great story. I for one would love to see many of your books come to the big screen.

Joey W. Hill Vettech, since we didn't delve too much into that end of things, I didn't have to do too much research, but what I did reference was driven by the type of erotic film work I'd discovered for myself with my husband, like the Bliss series on the Oprah Network, Red Shoe Diaries and Candida Royalle's work. I think Candida's work is a great example of where porn and erotic can meet each other halfway and result in stories that appeal to women. And I agree - porn versus erotic is in the eye of the beholder, but for folks who read my books, I think they come down on the side of erotic being more engaging to the senses/emotions, where quality character and story development are as much key to enjoying the book/film as the sexual components, and the sexual components MUST integrate the emotions into it. Whereas porn is purely physical/visual stimulation, which is probably why it appeals less to women, since our minds are our biggest erogenous zone, lol.
