What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Fiona Mitchell Nothing beats the feeling you get when a reader really connects with your work. It's why I write. And I'm always delighted when a reader who loves the work takes the time to review it too. I also get a huge kick out of seeing my book in a library - it makes me want to dance in the aisle. Knowing my book will be borrowed numerous times, and that some of those people will enjoy the story I've written, is a wonderful thing.
