Penric and the Shaman and Penric's Mission both published in 2016. Was that a fluke of timing or do you think a serialized novella series might be a reality for Pen? I'm desperate for more. :)

It was a fluke of timing. The Penric tales are specifically designed to come without deadlines, contracts tacit or otherwise, or any other constraints (on me). There may be more. Sometime. If I feel like it. And I like the idea. And don't have the flu, travel, broken appliances, house repairs, anything else I'd rather be doing, etc. The plan is to write them for me; the rest of you can come along for the ride if you like. Or not. Whatever... :-)

Bujold-sensei, I want to add my thanks to the pile--thank you so much for sharing your stories. They have given me many hours of quiet enjoyment and great conversation. I've been thinking about the "son/daughter of a great man syndrome" you have mentioned. Miles is constantly chasing his father's achievements--will Sasha and his siblings face the same future? How does M&E's parenting differ from C&A's? Thank you!
