Hello, Mr. Matharu. Can you explain the process behind summoners actually capturing demons in the first place? Also, how do these demons then get gifted on through the use of scrolls? Is each scroll specific to a set demon? How does the gifting work if another summoner already has the demon (for example, in Origins, when Charles receives his mother's Arach)? I love your books and eagerly await Battlemage. Adam.

A demon must be held in place over a Summoning leather/Organic Pentacle and infused by the summoner. This is dangerous as it is hard to hold a demon in place when it is wild and the summoner generally needs to be quite close and might get injured as it struggles.
Scrolls are specific to a single demon, and the process involves a lot of chanting while the scroll is inscribed. The way it looks when a summoner already has a demon is exactly what you see in Book 1, when Fletcher watches Ignatius almost given to the albino orc by a shaman, using the same summoning scroll he uses 1000 years later.
Thanks for the support dude.

Hi! I’m still so hooked on your books and still continuing to write fan fiction! Thank you for creating such an amazing world! Is it compulsory for all mages to go to Vocans? I know it said in book 1 that one of the nobles could’ve been expelled and then their father would have to pay for private tuition. That would’ve been a disgrace but does that mean that it was an option that summoners could be taught elsewhere?
