Kim Severn asked Jacqueline Winspear:

How do you do research for your novels?

Jacqueline Winspear All sorts of ways - I do primary research (visiting places), library and archive research, and I listen to a lot of audio recorded at the time. I study old photographs and I pay attention to personal accounts of experiences at the time I write about. I am doing this all the time - I constantly seem to have one foot in the era I write about.
