Your last name sounds Italian. Can you tell us about that?

Christopher Paolini My grandfather on my father's side was born and raised in Rome and south of Bologna. My book tour for Eldest ended in Rome, where my sister and I were able to visit our great aunt and uncle and a flock of cousins for the first time. We walked all over the city and saw sights that we had only seen in pictures before. History in Rome is as close as the cobblestones under your feet. It was amazing! Threads of Italian culture, such as love of the arts, a strong family, speaking one's mind, a sense of humor, and good home cooking tie me to my Italian heritage.

Hi Christopher! I love your books and I have the following question regarding dragons (I'm not sure if it was already asked so here it is). You mention several times in the cycle that Saphira's vision enhances every hue of blue. Would the amplified colours change from one dragon to another according to their scales' colour? Or do all dragons see in blue? Thanks in advance :)
