Gracie Bradford
Gracie Bradford asked Mae Clair:

How do you come up with the title of your books? What criteria do you use in hopes of grabbing buyers attention?

Mae Clair Hi, Gracie. That's a great question. Titles are usually hard for me. I don't think so much about grabbing the buyer's attention, but what I do always look for is whether or not the title has already been used multiple times by other authors.

In many cases, my titles refer to a physical location in the book (Eclipse Lake, Solstice Island, Weathering Rock) or--in the case of Twelfth Sun--something of note in the story.

In my latest, A Cold Tomorrow, "cold" is significant to a character in the book who is part of established folklore in the town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Thanks for asking!
