Hi Josh! I have a question about the Adrien English Mysteries: I love Jake Riordan, a convoluted and intriguing character. Sometimes it made me angry, but I really loved the other. Have you ever thought of writing a short story, or just anything, about him and his past or from his point of view to explain his behavior? PS: sorry for may english! Thank you :)

Josh Lanyon Hi Antonella,

I started a short story from Jake's POV many years ago. The problem is much of the charm of those books is the mood and tone and voice of Adrien, and that's all lost the minute Jake is the one telling the story. :-)

So it's something I've toyed with, but I'm not sure it would work.
