Kristan Higgins I'm not a man author. I hate to break this to you, but I'm a woman. : )

If I could be anything I wanted to be, I'd be a pediatric surgeon. The clock is ticking on medical school, though...plus, I hear there's math. I could be a great nanny; I was once, and I love kiddies. Or a barn hand. I'm great at mucking out stalls. A bartender? You can see I don't have a lot of life skills, now that I'm listing these...

Hi Kristan. Writing from Venezuela! Love your books, there're all lovely, especially Blue Heron's. I like the depths of your characters, so beautifully created. I was wondering if you will be publishing any more books soon? Even if it's not Blue Heron, although I'd love to read about Ned, Sarah, Abby or Charlie, by the way. I've bought, read, and loved your books from the very first one to the very last one. Honestly, I can't get enough of them, and when they are published, I want to read them as slowly as I can so that I can savor them but they are like a bag of chocolate chip cookies....I just gobble them down. But my question: when you started out writing romances, did you add in the humor deliberately or did it just...come out?
