She is a sixty-one year old auditor who has found employment always in analytical fields as government, banking, etc. Yet, when her office light is turned off she seeks peace, happiness and self-worth in a world of creativity. She writes, creates slogans, draws and dreams of writing one book in her lifetime. Sound like a good story??? It is real and is my life. Can a talent such as yourself offer me and advice?

I'm not sure if the question is about a new path for you (writing that book) or whether the life you've lived could be the subject/plot/story. I'll guess you meant the former and proffer writing advice: To get started find a writing workshop, led by a published writer (as opposed to a peer group, where often the loudest but not necessarily most helpful voice can prevail.) A weekly class give you deadlines and places to start with assignments and prompts. I won't go on and on in case that wasn't the advice you were looking for! Good luck!

Good Morning! I met you once many years ago at an evening book signing in Beverly Hills. I mentioned I had read Inn at Lake Devine more often than The Little House Books, Secret Garden and Little Princess combined. Have you ever contemplated writing a sequel to that book? Or did the original book have deleted scenes or chapters? I guess I am looking for a director's cut ;).
