That's a big question. The simple answer is: Write. Even if the only reader is yourself. And read. Read a lot. You can learn so much by reading a variety of authors. I've always felt that if you want to be a writer, you are already writing. You can't stop yourself.

Hi Linwood, I was lucky enough to win an advanced copy of Broken Promise. I absolutely loved it! The characters were great. I loved the idea of a trilogy with each book having its own plot which is resolved and then a plot continuing over all three books. How did you come up with that idea? I can't wait for book 2 and 3.
