Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Bruce Beckham There are several that spring to mind: the coolest couple would be Tom Ripley and his French wife Heloise; the most endearing Pod and Homily (Mary Norton’s Borrowers); but I guess my favourite – if I’m allowed an all-male couple – has to be Poirot and Hastings. They consistently make me smile – for a whole host of reasons – and give the lie to any suggestion that Agatha Christie lacked a sense of humour.

Hi just want to say I am loving your books. I got 1-4 for free on amazon then bought the rest!! A question as I am half way through #6 now and timewise almost 2 years has past but you don't appear to be aging the characters at all, ie DI Skelgill is still 37 ??
