Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Sterling R. Walker I immediately thought of Slippery Jim diGriz, the Stainless Steel Rat, and his murderous wife Angelina, who is no angel! Harry Harrison's SSR series sparked my lifelong love of science fiction. I love his dry wit and quirky characters. Jim and Angelina were a force to be reckoned with, but the humor is what got me hooked.
