The first answer that came to mind was Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny from The Outsiders. They weren't a romantic couple, but they were best friends and their friendship spoke deeply to me. It was a bond I craved in my life and a bond I did find in my friendships in the neighborhood I grew up in.
As for my favorite fictional couple I've written, for the Pushing the Limits series it's a tie between Noah and Echo and Isaiah and Rachel. For the Thunder Road series, I have to say I'm in love with Violet and Chevy's relationship!

I love that you tackle real life issues in so many different ways and so respectfully i.e drugs, abuse, death etc. My question is are there any real life issues that you would not write about and to what depth would you explore the ones that you would?
