A Goodreads user asked Michael J. Sullivan:

Is it possible, any vision in author's mind, to become one day reality? Best regards: A. Tomov – junior

Michael J. Sullivan Hey Alexandar, I'm not sure "exactly" what you are asking. I believe we might be having a translation issue. If the question is, "If an author has an idea can it one day find it's way to readers." Then I think the answer is yes. In the old days there was a limit to the number of books that could be released. Publishers only had so many open spots to fill, and if you weren't going through a publisher, you wouldn't be able to find an audience.

Nowadays, even if publishers don't pick up a particular title (which may not mean it was bad...it could be a number of reasons for rejection) then the author certainly can do so on their own. Self-publishing is now a viable path to publication, so yes...if anything you can think of you can "get it out there." Whether people will read it or not, is another question ;-)
