from one of my mentors, steven pressfield ( i paraphrase): put your butt in the seat and write. writing is an organic act that everyone does. the problem comes when we have expectations that pre-judge our writing. the only antidote is to keep writing, even when we don't feel like it. the muse comes to those who are present to receive her gifts.
