I love how detailed and culturally rich your books are, especially Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Have you read any books by Pearl S. Buck? If so, do you think she portrayed the culture accurately?

The only Pearl S. Buck book that I've read is The Good Earth. I think she portrayed the culture very accurately in that one. I can't say for the others, since I haven't read them. She was prolific!
