I've noticed that aspiring author groups focus solely on writing skills which is fine. But I don't understand how they seem to ignore altogether the craft of storytelling. What's your view on the importance of writing skills compared with that of the craft of storytelling?

Hi Jamie: Having never belonged to any author groups, or sat in on a storytelling class, I'm not sure what to tell you. It's all linked as far as I am concerned. Writing skills and storytelling are intertwined. You can't create a fantastic car unless you possess both design and engineering skills.

I'm absolutely obsessed with your stories and characters, and thrilled to hear your new book A Noise Downstairs, is coming to the US July 24, 2018. Any idea if or when an Audible version might be coming? I've listened to every book currently offered on Audible, and the narrators have done outstanding job translating your work from written to spoken. Do you have any say in who narrates?
