Leo McBride
Leo McBride asked L.N. Denison:

As a fellow short story writer (though you've got me well beaten on the novel front!), what has been your personal favourite short story you've written? And who are the short story writers whose work you love?

L.N. Denison I wouldn't say my stories were short. I do like to write the odd bit of flash fiction, but most of my work is between 20'000 and 80'000 words long. But to answer your question, one of my favourite shorts stories was a story I titled 'The hysteria was real'. It was based around what might've happened if the 1939 radio broadcast of 'The war of the worlds' had actually been a real broadcast, having a nice little twist at the end. As for short story writers...I love Edgar Allen Poe =)
