I don't read about very many couples, because in most books they either just meet or aren't in very many of the books by their author.
But one couple I enjoy is Mac and Annabel Smith in Margaret Truman's mysteries. Mac is a lawyer and Annabel owns an art gallery. They are highly intelligent but humble enough to help friends in trouble. They seem like they would do whatever necessary to help someone, whether it's time or money. I enjoy each of the stories they are in. Sadly, I don't think there will be anymore as Truman died several years ago.
