Are you reading a historical fiction selection?

I am about halfway through In the Kingdom of Men, set in the 1960s, so it is just barely historical.

I'm working on Don't Let Me Go by Catherine Ryan Hyde. Enjoying it very much. Not historical.

Why yes I am. Its my favorite genre. I'm about a third of the way into The Kingmaker's Daughter. I know the story of the Wars of the Roses cold so its not very suspenseful, but its narrator, Anne Neville, gives it a somewhat different perspective.

Not at the moment. I'm still working my way through The Order of Odd-Fish. I'm kind of enjoying it, but am not moving through it to quickly.

I finished In the Kingdom of Men, which I liked, and this morning I picked up Shadow of Night at the library. I don't know what possessed me, though, since I didn't bother to finish A Discovery of Witches, a book that I thought suffered terribly from the idiot plot. I guess I have a soft spot for historians-turned-novelists.

I am reading Shine Shine Shine. I finished
Gone Girl, and I was shocked by the ending.

I finished The Lifeboat (pretty decent-a fast read too) and now went back to Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter. I have a few more from the library but put most of my hold list (besides the ones that I'm number 100 or longer on lol) on freeze at the library bc after this batch I would like to reread The Passage in anticipation of The Twelve's release. Although every time I look at it the selfish voice in my head chimes in and says, "Just read a recap. You've already read it once. Look how many new books you could read." I know a pretty specific inner voice.

I'm reading Before I Go To Sleep while I wait for the library to get Pandemonium shelved on the hold shelf for me. I'm not too far into Before... but am liking it so far.

I just started True Believers last night and I'm really liking it.
