Is anyone willing to be captain? I would do it, but I am already a captain in another team challenge I am doing and I don't have time for both.

I am horrible at coming up with team names too. The only thing I can think of is Finders Keepers because we are finding stuff, LOL!

Hello! I was in round 2 and on team 2!! How weird! Victorious Vixens sounds good to me and I do not want to be team leader. I was a little confused last round, so I might have some questions once they start calling items.

Victorious Vixens sounds good to me too. I don't think I'll have time to devote myself to being a team leader :(.

I really don't want to be team leader this round. The name sounds good

It looks like no one on our team wants to be captain, LOL!

Hina ~ Do you want to go ahead and do it? I can do it if you don't want to, but I am new this round too and captaining another team challenge, so I might be slow on the updates.

It sounds like the favorite team name is Victorious Vixens.

Some of the other teams are doing co-captains.

That's a good idea! Hina, do you want to co-captain with me? That way we can figure it out together and help each other out if we get busy?

There isn't much to do as captain either. It isn't as consuming as other team challenges.

I haven't come up with a good way to have captains report points for the extra items, so it is just easier to do it my self. Since there are only about 30 people it isn't to bad. If we get much bigger I may have to rethink that.

Anyway, I will keep track of points and add to the offical spreadsheet. The captain just needs to be an extra set of eyes to make sure I don't miss anything. And they need to alert me if some one stops paticipating. It really isn't too hard. It isn't an every day job, once or twice a week updates would work.

Oh, okay. That doesn't sound hard. If Hina, doesn't want to captain, I can do it.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to check in before. Sure Kim, We can co-captain together. We are both going to need it. I'm pretty much have more free time since I am taking some time off school for fall semester.

Lizz - I hope you fee better soon. Any surgery can take a lot out of a person.

I'm glad people like the name. If no objection, then I guess we are the Victorious Vixens.

Not a problem, Kim and I will be fine and you will be around to help us out. Just rest up and get better soon. I know you are hosting some challenges yourself too.

Actually, I have been trying to finish up some of my other challenges..so I haven't gotten around to it. I will probably work on this in the next couple of days.

I actually have all my books picked out already. Got all the categories/words nailed down in 8 books. ;)

I can't pick books a head of time cause I am always changing my mind

I went with the "I am pretty sure I can find it in this book" approach. And if it wasn't there I read another. I didn't really plan until the last couple of weeks.

I think I will start out picking books as I go, but then plan more as it gets near the end. I can't wait to start. Team challenges are so much fun!

Hey Team! Our power went out last night so my posting abilities are going to be limited. I do have my iPhone, but I can only charge it while in the car. We had the power company over this morning and they said they have never seen anything like our problem. Our yard is going to have to be dug up. We are going to be lucky to have power in a week! Ugh. With 5 kids, just the laundry situation alone scares me, LOL! Plus, I was supposed to have a baby shower at my house tonight!!!! I should be able to do quick updates and hopefully I will have power by next week. :)
