Allison I am so sick of this series. It goes round and round in circles and the TV show just makes it even worse... And why the heck did it not end after book 8 Wanted like it was supposed to?

I'm only reading this just to know what happens. And I'm unwillingly doing it

Sarah Caughey I agree i think the series should have ended long ago. I think by dragging the series out it's making it worse. I really used to enjoy these books now i dread when the next one comes out knowing it will confuse me more, but feeling i have no choice but to read it. But i disagree with what you said about the series i really enjoy it and it's not really like the books at all.

message 3: by Makayla (new) - added it

Makayla so who is the final A?

Sarah Caughey In the books ali had a twin sister called Courtney and they switched places so the real Ali ended up in a mental home and Courtney was pretending to be Ali. Ali then got released from the mental home and killed Courtney. That was the story in the book and now real Ali is meant to have died too so no-one knows who the current A is in the books!

Megan There's going to be 14 of these. The series needs to end!

Amaya Really.

Wait, 14? I thought there was only going to be 12 with this being the last one

Shreya Das I think its 12 books...

message 9: by Makenzie (new)

Makenzie Now she's writing two more books so it doesnt end till next year.

Shayla Is it bad if I like the show better than the books? haha

message 11: by Gabby (new)

Gabby I understand publishing more books after Wanted; they never found Ali's body, so people would always wonder. But, with a predicted 14 books (and that's only SO FAR, who knows how long the series will go on), we could be seeing the same thing 2 or more times:
1. Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily don't recieve threats for a while, then they come back.
2. They pin A on some random person who in the end doesn't end up being A.
3. Emily finds a girl she likes, kisses, dates for all of two minutes, and then the girl disapears.

And I can't stress this enough: THEY NEVER GET ANY CLOSER TO FINDING OUT WHO A IS.
So please, Sara, end this series, at least, next year? I'd rather not be 40 and still wondering who the heck A is.

Amaya A is tony and Mona maybe if u watched the show u would know!!!! No offense! But I'm with u on ending the book series cuz it makes no sense

No because I like the show better that the books too the books make no sense

Shayla That's what I was thinking, the books just confuse me, haha.

Um, no offense, but the books came first. The tv writers are making their own story line so that people will not just read the books to find out who A is. Sara however is in charge of who the real A is and the tv show will eventually probably use that idea in the end...but until then the REAL A is unknown

em (lattereads) Amaya wrote: "A is tony and Mona maybe if u watched the show u would know!!!! No offense! But I'm with u on ending the book series cuz it makes no sense"

No. Toby is not A. He died in book #2. And yes, Mona is A. In book 4. Do you even have an inkling of an idea of who the other two A's are? No, unless you read wanted, which you obviously did not, since you have no idea the Toby is dead.

What are you talking about??? This is a book forum, it has nothing to do with that God- awful T.V series. Mona was A, like 8 books ago and there is no Tony (unless you mean Toby cause he died like 10 books) so you should really get your facts straight. Or perhaps actually read the series then post a comment - one that hopefully is not ignorant.

read the books, honey. honestly.

Thank you!!! U get my point!!! Finally

Briana October It's been great reading everyone's comments, and I honestly think that the reason there are more books coming out is because the TV show has done so well. Why not keep the momentum going with the books also? I personally find the books to be really predictable but for some reason I can't stop reading them (or watching the tv show...). I also think that the books are becoming better each time they come out but they are way too short. I'd rather she put together 2 books into one...would be much more interesting.

Luna Really there is Ali's prequel that came out in January - are two more books coming out( Crushed & Deadly) - and I agree she should have just ended it after Wanted I feel like I just running in circle trying to read the books. TV show- why haven't they found REAL ALI or is That redcoat who is going to revealed tonight! who knows!?

Amaya Its alison!!! Omgd

Jordan There are two more books coming out at least, that's not to say that the series will be over but the timeline in the books suggests that high school will be over and I doubt that the story will continue through college. Saying that, the last two books should be action packed and revealing but book 12, eh. I wrote a review on my blog about Emily's stupidity. What I don't get is these little spin offs, Ali's Diary and the other book in that series-ish thing, why is that necessary?

Jessica These books would be so much more enjoyable if the girls weren't so stupid. It feels like they never learn anything and the series just goes round in circles. It feels like a chore to keep reading these books but I can't stop because I've come this far, I deserve to know who A is! :(

It feels like Sara is only stretching out the series for more money.

Andrea The only reason Im reading this series is because, well...I have to know who A is! But I agree 100% that the series should be over!!!! Its definitely not the same anymore....its turning dull and repetitive.

Mkittysamom I totally agree that we need to know who A is. I think it is Ali, and I wonder if the man who was with her when she killed Courtney was Jason. Jason loved Courtney better and I think he may have been tricked into getting rid of the "evil" twin. I am also sick of the same ol story, pin A on somebody new in the book, make the girls think they killed ppl which they didn't, and the relationships last a week tops before they just give up on each other. What's up with Maya anyways, it's like she turned evil and has been hiding all these books?
