Enshadowed
question
What ?

After waiting so long for this sequel, and I just finished reading this in 7 hours, I can't believe
this book. I am speechless, and not in a good way.
There had better be a 3rd book.
This isn't at all what I expected.
What did you think?

Yeah I didn't like it :-(
There is a third book. This one ends on another horrible cliffhanger. I was hoping for more Varen but I found it slow. Izzy took forever to go get him!

The ending killed me. I read the last 3 chapter at least 3 times and I came up *blank*
You would actually BUY YET ANOTHER BOOK?!!!! Thats insane. i have had enough. First of all nothing happened. Second; Isobel actually got dumber, and she wasn't all that smart to start with. I simply can't stand her yelling at people in another book. Gwen can't even stand her. Third; This doesn't make any sense. What was Lillith doing? Pulling herself inot our world by a string from Poe's tummy? And if she needs to pull herself in, then why did she move Varen into her realm? Why not pull herself in by the silver string in his tummy?
Worst of all; Just why is the stupid blond bimbo risking her life, giving up on her father and all of her friends and her future for a guy she has known for about two months? I don't get it. They couldn't even get to know each other too well because they were dealing with the demon that the dink summoned to earth cos he was lonely. Huh? Maybe he should have just dealt with his issues and tried to open himself up to more people instead of summoning up a demon. That should always be the last resort. He could have tried smiling and talking to people first. ARGH. HATED HATED BOOK HATED BOOK....

I like her writing and I did like this book. It was up satisfying though. If she was going to keep isobel and varen apart for the whole book she should have given us chapters from his perspective so that we could have stayed connected with what he was experiencing. I felt this huge disconnect from varen and because of that I felt less compelled by them as a couple.
I did find this book upsetting, I wish Isobels relashionship with her parents didn't have to suffer so much, and *wispers* i found myself rooting more for Pinfeathers than Varen in this one. But I still loved it, the middle book was always going to be the one people felt dragged, still I can't wait for the next one.
