A-ha! Discovered there is already a folder for requesting reviews so I shall be the first to request some :)

I've got two books ready for reviews.

I've committed to donate 10% of all sales of my debut novel, Conditioned Response, to Team X-TREME (See more on this below the book links). Both stories are in the same far-future Dystopian SciFi universe, with When Minds Collide taking place about 400 years before Conditioned Response, so you might like to try WMC first for free before donating to the cause. That was my cunning plan anyway ^)^

In a future where humans can clone a new body part at will and essentially triple the average lifespan, a fatal car accident on an alien world leaves a fledgling human colony without two of their greatest minds. In desperation, the administrative head of the colony carries out a dangerous experiment which could either save both men or destroy them completely. When one of the indigenous people of the Phoenician world helps save the experiment gone awry, it will change the course of human history forever.

Over 400 years after landing on the Phoenician world, humans have re-established the species through artificial breeding and an oligarchical caste system of control. Raif is a member of the military caste, the Proctors, enslaved to the ruling class, but it's obvious he was never designed to be a Proctor. His quest to find his true purpose in life intersect the secret agenda of his Councillor, a Phoenician named Shayla, the first and only Phoenician to actually live among the humans since their arrival. What's up with my donations
I'm a member of RABMAD (Read a Book, Make a Difference, see my page here - http://bit.ly/fridayRABMAD) so 10% of all my sales go to Team X-TREME, a group of warriors who go to the extreme (get it?) to train, rebhabilitate, empower, motivate and endure for the sake of our wounded warriors.


If you've ever seen these guys race, you'll know why they're called Team X-TREME. They run races and obstacle courses wearing a gas mask to purposely reduce their oxygen intake--like breathing at high altitude, through a straw. They do this for a couple of hours to honor and inspire support for the wounded vets who live with that level of difficulty in their everyday life. Ever hurt a thumb or pinky and then tried to tie your shoes? Try it out with only one arm!

Check out Team X-TREME's Facebook Page for some amazing photos of their recent run of the Spartan Race in Virginia - wow! The 300 had nothing on these guys!

I chose Team X-TREME as my charity to support for a specific reason: they are a military group doing support for military personnel that the government has failed to service--kind of like my protagonist in Conditioned Response, Raif. This is exactly the kind of thing Raif would do (if he were alive in real life, that is :-)))

Hi MO, my birthday's the first week in November so that'd make a super nice birthday present to get a new review :) I might have started charging for When Minds Collide by then, though, as I probably will charge for it entering the holiday season. It'll be cheap, probably 99c everywhere like it is right now at Amazon. But get a free copy now to read then :)
