I review adult romance (that's adult as in age, not necessarily steam), focusing on Historical (mostly regency), Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Steampunk, and Romantic Suspense. My favorites are Historical and PNR/UF.
I do not accept review requests in:
Christian/Inspirational, Chick-Lit, Young Adult, Erotica.
I strongly prefer digital review copies (Kinde, Adobe Digital Editions -- DRM titles are fine) whenever possible, as I have poor eyesight and need the larger font.

My review blog is:
http://www.nightlyreading.wordpress.com
I also run a tour group site where authors can come and book a tour and bloggers can become tour hosts:
http://www.nrbooktours.wordpress.com

I read a variety. I like reading contemporary, inspirational, young adult, memoirs, history, love dog books, alot of different genres. I will also review kids books.
I tend to stay away from chick-lit like romance, and at the moment can't think of others.
I prefer a hard copy or paperback of the book or on the Kindle.

I have a blog where I occasionally review books: http://beverlyakerman.blogspot.com.
Mostly, the blog carries information about my award winning collection of short fiction (The Meaning of Children http://amzn.to/KznFvA), and postings of my articles published elsewhere. Parenting, gun control (I'm FOR it!), Quebec and Canadian politics.
My most recent review is of Jan Wong's "Out of the Blue," dubbed the first "workplace divorce memoir" by Macleans Magazine. The story of a Canadian career journalist whose life unravels when she makes an error on a file of national importance, and her editor fails to catch it. http://beverlyakerman.blogspot.ca/201...

Hi everyone - I've been regularly reviewing on goodreads and amazon and hosting author interviews and their writing process every other post on my blog. I love to read when I'm not writing and would be more than willing to review for folks.
I prefer fantasy, science fiction, horror, thrillers and action-adventure. Love smart books that make me think. Douglas Preston/Lincoln Childs, Kellerman, Rowlings, King, Koontz, Drake - love them all - I really am not a fan of voilent chick lit, memoirs (people going through abuse at home) or non-fiction. And if I like a series, I'll read them all (but you have to hook me from book one!) Would totally appreciate the reviews for my novels as well. Thanks!

I prefer thrillers, crime fiction, sci-fi, historicals (but not romance). I also read YA and I love humor when I can find it.
I'd love to get my own latest eBook (FIND EMILY) reviewed. If anyone would like to volunteer, send me your email (via my blog for privacy) and I will email a smashwords coupon back. It's short (47,000 words).
JJ

Elyse, I'm a psychologist so I've also enjoyed Jonathan Kellerman novels. My dad is a huge Lee Childs fan.
I'll check out your blogs!

It says on your blog that you're not open for review requests just now. Is that likely to change anytime soon?

Checked out your guidelines. My latest book is just short of 50,000 words, so probably too short for you?
Anyway, I see you have no room for any more books for review at the moment.

Sci-Fi/Thriller

Jack King seems like a normal guy. He works at a bookstore, has a beautiful girlfriend, and loves photography. But he isn’t normal. Not by a long stretch.
Jack could blow up half this city in the blink of an eye.
When Jack’s best friend is murdered, Jack has no choice but to find his friend’s killer. But with enemies new and old (including his ex-girlfriend) bent on stopping him, Jack leaps head-first back into a world he ran away from – a world more complicated and dangerous than he ever knew!

“The world the author has created is complex, realistic and most likely allegorical. I’m not an accredited scholar, but what I can tell you is: I. Want. More.”
-- Michelle, Reading Lark
“So many books are great all the way up until the ending at which point the author seemingly gives up. Not the case with The Fire Inside.”

Black Mirror
The sequel to The Fire Inside. I am currently working on the novel but am looking for folks to be beta-readers.
Steampunk/Horror/Adventure

When Jonathan Adams arrives at The Franklin Building, deep in the shadow of a mysterious airship, he finds scared servants, a concerned constable, and a maid with her head cleaved in two. For lurking in the hallways is a killer worse than anything Adams can imagine...

"The peppering of steampunk adds a unique flavor to the tale of genius investigator and a tough as nails police sergeant who is all too familiar to fans of American poetry."
-- Michael Wirth, Amazon reviewer
"A cleverly constructed, taught thriller with elements seamlessly blending steampunk, horror, detective fiction and sci-fi. All that and a mix of recognizable characters and a lead with tremendous promise. Looking forward to seeing where the author plans to take us!"
-- Ryan J. Steans, Amazon reviewer
Philly-Punk 2
I'm currently working on the second story. This series will be a collection of short stories that will lead into an exciting duology.
Contemporary Literature/Daddy-Fic

This a novel I wrote when I first became a father. It tells the tale of Paul, horror novelist, who returns to his hometown in Pennsylvania. This move is more than just returning to his roots and trying to finish his stalled novel, it's restarting a relationship with his high school sweetheart, Annie. And getting to know Annie's eight month old son, Max. But, when Annie dies in a freak car accident, Paul finds himself doing something he never could have foreseen: raising Max on his own.

"I really liked Paul. He seemed like a real, normal person to me. I felt that his character reacted to his life's situations in a truthful, realistic way. Above all, every single thing in this book is believable, and that adds to its strength."
Sarah, Sarah Reads Too Much
"The characters are extremely well developed, making it very easy to connect to them emotionally as the story progressed. The story was definitely an emotional roller coaster and I was swept away along with the characters in their ups and downs."

is where I review books.
Details of my review policy can be found on the review page. I have done reviews for BlogCritics and The Indie Review as well. Recently I had one book review featured in the Seattle Post Intelligencer. I have also recently joined NetGalley.

I have a blog where I post short stories, drabbles and rants. I also just recently started writing reviews too.
My first one is a review of James Rollins new Sigma Force Novel, Bloodline.
That was my first review, so I would really like to know if I should continue reviewing books I read, or if I should just stick with the shorts stories.

Since I'm really new to blogging, all tips and advices will be more than welcome! ;-)

I review for http://happilyeverafterthoughts.blogs.... It's strictly a romance site, but I try to mix up the sub-genre of my reviews from inspirational to erotica. I prefer the tangible books still as I'm looking at a screen long enough when I write:)
Also, I only post a review if I have good things to report as I don't feel it's my place to sabotage anyone's writing just because of my opinion.
