Second Chance Challenges discussion
I'll start us off. I'm going to start off with one and will probably do another once I finish this one. One of my all-time favorite books is
The Princess Bride by William Goldman.It's funny, a little bit snarky, romantic, full of adventure and it's a fantasy which is my favorite genre. I've read it more than once and will probably read it again sometime in the near future.

My all-time favorite book is Outlander and the other 6 books in the series pretty much fill out my top ten. This is an unforgettable saga of the Scottish Highlands and the war with the English. Claire is truly Jamie's soul mate. I honestly don't think one can survive without the other. I've heard of no one whose read Outlander and didn't fall in love with Jamie, Claire and Scotland. What a book and it's just the beginning of the adventures for these two fabulous characters.

I've never read The Count of Monte Cristo (gasp!) I know, I know. It's one of those that I always say I'm going to read one day but it always gets pushed to the back burner.
Mallory, yes. My intention is for you to spell out every word in the title. If an individual decides not to do that it's ok. I'm not gonna come hunt you down or anything. :)

It's not a really 'deep' book, Sara, but I laughed my way through most of it. How can you not laugh about something written by Dave Barry? LOL Having kids and a dog made it that much easier to identify with the story :)

My all time favorite book is Bridge to Terabithia. I read it in the fourth grade for the first time and was hooked from the start. My teacher read it aloud to us and I couldn't wait for reading time everyday so we could hear another chapter. I have reread it several times as an adult and still get emotional, and can even recite parts of it. And yes, I saw the movie when it came out. And as always, the book was better.
