I'm looking for a book kinda like the Princess Diaries, where the main character is unpopular, or an underdog. (I'll read any books that I'm recommended!)

Going Bovine by Libba Bray. Not exactly an underdog, but definitely a book you'll enjoy if you like Princess Diaries

She's not actually all that unpopular, but Tate McCoy is a bit of an underdog, and this is the first book in what is to become a series. My So-Called Ruined Life by Melanie Bishop.
