During this month, you can choose any genre that you would like! I have actually chosen "Black Beauty" as my first book this month because I have always wanted to read it. Let me know what you are going to be reading this month!!!

Amy | 142 comments I think I'm going to do some political reading. We'll see how that goes. Other than that I plan on reading the second book in the Matched Series,Crossed. And also Keeper of the Doves.

I'm too late for this challenge. The year is almost gone. Maybe in 2013.

Melissa (ladybug) I have finished The Wild Rose. It turned out just ok for me. :) I am going to read Ready Player One next.

How are you liking Black Beauty, Brenda? :D I loved this book as a child.

I am liking it. I actually had to reread The Kitchen House for my book group so that sort of has slowed me down!

Melissa (ladybug) I loved Ready Player One. It takes 80's trivia and constructs a world around it. I had some problems with how jaded Wade was and how politicized it seemed to be, but overall a really excellent read. I started to read it and read it in one night. :D

How is The Kitchen House going? I want to read it, but so far it has been checked out of the library. :D

I'm not sure what you would call Tananarrive Due's genre? Is it mystery, paranormal, horror??? Not sure. Anyway, my October book at this moment is THE BETWEEN by TANANARRIVE DUE.

I loved The Kitchen House.

Amy | 142 comments I finished Keeper of the Doves. It was ok. Good for younger elementary aged kids I think. Now I'm reading Crossed. Really enjoying it so far and happy to get back into this series.

Amy | 142 comments I just finished Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie .
I liked it, but not nearly as well as the first in this series, Matched. I am invested in these characters though, so I'll definitely be reading the last in the trilogy, Reached. Can't wait!

Amy | 142 comments I'm reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling

I see that you are reading Harry Potter. I read several of those when I taught the fourth grade!
Great books!
