Dee (austhokie) | 652 comments To celebrate the release of the second book in Lene Kaaberbøl's Nina Borg series, Invisible Murder, she is our featured Author of the Month.

So what are you guys going to read? Are you behind like me and going to read The Boy in the Suitcase, or are you going to read her new? Or maybe try one of the other books listed in her profile?

Naomi (nblackburn) | 932 comments I am doing Invisible Murder. I have to get it requested from the library!

message 3: by Martha (new)

Martha (marthas48) I have The Boy in the Suitcase so I will try to read that one this month.

message 4: by Gyl (new)

Gyl (gylm) | 4 comments I have just discovered the department Q series fron Jussi Adler-Olsen which are refreshingly different, blending noir with some humour. How about trying Keeper of lost causes?

message 5: by Dee, the Insanity Check (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 652 comments Gyl - are you recommending an author for another month?

message 6: by Florence (new)

Florence Wetzel (florencewetzel) Looking forward to Invisible Murder. I thought The Boy in the Suitcase was fantastic, with an extremely high level of tension that kept the book moving. I actually checked the final pages at one point, because I couldn't bear the tension any longer! Amazing that these authors are able to achieve this via writing.

Bobbi D I have read The Boy in the Suitcase and am looking forward to reading Invisible Murder which arrived in my mailbox yesterday!

Naomi (nblackburn) | 932 comments My copy of Lena's newest one is at the library. I will grab it on Wed. but don't think I am going to be able to get to it for the next couple of weeks!

message 11: by Bobbi (new)

Bobbi D Jussi -Adler-Olsen would be a good choice for November.

message 12: by Mary (new)

Mary I've read The Boy in the Suitcase which I enjoyed. I'll have to look to get the new one Invisible Murder.

Carrie (carriele1216) | 20 comments Stop You're Killing Me is offering a chance to win Invisible Murder in their giveaways this month. Beyond that, it's a good website to check out if you're interested in mysteries in general.

Lili | 28 comments I've read Boy in the Suitcase and wasn't too impresssed, Nina displays some odd behaviour and seems to have little regard for her own children or her husband and incongruously places herself in danger. Hoping that in Invisible Murder the character has a little more charm.

message 15: by Naomi, the Sanity Check (new)

Naomi (nblackburn) | 932 comments I am trying to wrap up Invisible Murder today, but am getting pulled in too many different directions. So far, I don't like how long it has taken to get the story going.

message 16: by Naomi, the Sanity Check (new)

Naomi (nblackburn) | 932 comments OK..I think I have figured out that Nina Borg is the equivalent to Tess Gerritsen's medical mysteries. Although I liked this one a tiny bit better than Boy in the suitcase, don't know if I like the medical aspect in my NN.

message 17: by Susan (new)

Susan (susanthomas) Just finished Invisible Murder and loved it. This series is refreshingly different and I hope there will be many more to come from this author!
