Standing in a field for all eternity. For souls who did not wish to be judged, for fear they would be sent to the Fields of Punishment.

Isn't that where hazel went until Gaea opened the doors of death?

mels (padmeskywalkers) ((Yes))

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Ty led Adina on, looking back every so often. He closed their entryway behind them, so no monsters made it into Camp. As they stepped out into the Fields, he turned towards her. "So, first up on our tour, we're going to pay a visit to Cerberus, since I promised I'd come play with him. Second, if you're nice and agreeable, we'll go to Elysium, okay?" he asked, much more relaxed to be where his blood hailed from.

message 5: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments Adina started to nod her head when she saw a person - if he could be called that - walking aimlessly towards them. She let out a screech when she saw his empty eyes. What was wrong with these people? "First of all," she said shakily, "Do I even want to know why you come here often and play with Cerberus?" she asked wide eyed. "Second of all, is this normal?" she asked, motioning to the people wandering about.

message 6: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Cerberus gets bored," Ty said, answering her first question. He took hold of her arm lightly, so as not to hurt her, and led her on, avoiding the spirits. "And yes. The dead who aren't judged simply wander around here for eternity," he replied, nodding. He didn't like it, either, but that was the way his dear-old-dad designed it. He and his father were having a... disagreement, at the moment, as it happens, but he didn't care to talk about it.

message 7: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "Cerberus gets bored." she mimicked. "Because that's not freaky..." She shivered as she was being led through the underworld and inwardly pleaded for one of the listless faces to look up. Why weren't they doing anything? Adina thought about what Ty said. "And do you think that's okay?" she asked, "Are you honestly okay with knowing that they will never know their fate? I would be terrified if I was alone with my thoughts for all of eternity." Under normal circumstances, Adina would have walked off, but she didn't feel like chancing it on her own in the underworld. Love and death were all to closely entwined.

message 8: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "No. But they chose not to be judged, in most cases," Ty replied, shrugging as he neared the metal detectors where Cerberus stood guard. He led her through them, fooling it into not going off, and approached the three-headed hound.

Cerberus barked happily, tail wagging rapidly when he saw Tybalt.

message 9: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments Adina didn't like it, but she'd save it for later. This place wasn't exactly giving her the warm and fuzzy feelings. As they approached the... dog... Adina put her hand casually on her sword. The little tail wagging thing was not swaying her.

message 10: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Hey boys," Tybalt said, letting her go as he approached it. He reached up, and it lowered its heads to be scratched. "It's been awhile, hasn't it?" he asked, smiling. The menacing hound was really just a teddy bear, if you asked him. He acted juvenile, almost.

message 11: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "Hey." Adina waved at the three dog heads awkwardly when they stared at the sound of her voice. She put on a forced smile and said through gritted teeth, "Ty, I swear, if you get us killed, I will haunt all of the underworld to find you and kill again you myself."

message 12: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Cerberus bounded over to her, sniffing at her. "Sit," Ty ordered from behind it. Its rear hit the ground, crushing a spirit. "Pet him," he suggested, trying to hide his amusement. She had his scent on her, after all, so she was safe. Cerberus knew how to discern friends and foes.

message 13: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments Adina was ready to accept the fact that she would be leaving without a few fingers. "I am going to politely ignore the fact that the dog just sat on a spirit." she hissed. "I cannot believe I am going to do this." She was trying to decide whether petting the three headed dog or snake was worse. She had almost finished mentally writing her own obituary when she reached out to pet one of the heads.

message 14: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Cerberus nuzzled into her hand like a puppy, tail wagging. Ty barely held in his laughter, seeing her terror. Honestly, what she think it was going to do, eat her? Cerberus only hurt people that weren't dead and that it didn't have authorization for. Being with a child of Hades was like having an all access pass. Its other heads got jealous and whimpered, staring at her with big eyes.

message 15: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments When the other heads turned towards her, Adina looked towards Ty. He was definitely not getting off the hook so easily. When they ate her, or at least her fingers, he better try to stop them. She squeezed her eyes closed and braced herself for the inevitable attack. When it didn't come after a few seconds, Adina ventured to open one eye. They just kept staring at her. If she didn't know what they were, she'd go as far as to say they were cute.

message 16: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) One of the heads licked her hand, shoving his head under it to be petted. Then, the first head growled in protest, and the two began growling at each other, about to fight. Ty came forward and took her arm again, taking her away. "That's enough of Cerberus..." he murmured, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire.

message 17: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "Thanks," she muttered, but she looked back at the dog(s). She caught Ty's eye for a moment and motioned back at the dogs. She didn't like them, but she didn't hate them enough to want them to start fighting each other.

message 18: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Ty smiled. "Hey boys!" he called, attracting their attention. "Be nice," he called, waving at them. He was glad that she saw the good in the three-headed hell demon. He certainly did, after all. They were actually quite well-behaved.

message 19: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments Not that she would ever admit it if anyone asked, but Adina was glad that the dogs hadn't started fighting each other. "Okay," she said, turning to Ty, "The situation is resolved. What's the plan from here?" she asked.

message 20: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments ((Gtg))

message 21: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Want to go home?" Ty asked, wondering. After all, this was enough for him to be satisfied. She'd proven her bravery, anyway. "Or do you want to see Elysium?" he asked, since he wasn't sure if she wanted to continue.

message 22: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments Once you'd gone, there was no turning back. "Take me to Elysium." she said, "And then I want to see Hades. I have a bone to pick with him." If there was one thing that Adina had learned from her trip to the dead, it was that death didn't always offer peace. She looked past Ty to the seemingly soulless people. This wasn't how anyone deserved to go about. Taking away someone's mind, their free will, that was a blow below the belt for her. Her mind was sometimes the only honest thing that she had.

message 23: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "We're NOT going to see my father," Ty said, shaking his head. "Under absolutely NO circumstances, got it? If he found out that I brought you here..." he started, leading her towards Elysium. "Just... No. I'll come back on my own and talk to him about it, or, better yet, send Nico. Just not right now," he said, pushing his glasses up a bit.

message 24: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "Interesting," Adina said, eyes alight, "The father is a touchy subject..." She couldn't help but wander what Hades would do if he knew they were down here. It only made her want to find out. "Come on, you know you want to..." she said, adding a bit of persuasion in her voice.

message 25: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "No," Ty growled, his hand tightening around her arm. "No I do not," he reinforced, shaking his head. The spirits in front of him sensed his growing anger and shrank back, avoiding him. "Do you want to be incinerated by my father?" he asked, sighing.

message 26: by Za-za (last edited Nov 23, 2013 01:37PM) (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "Actually, that wasn't on the top of my to do list, but if it's on the agenda, then I suppose we'll just have to hope for the best." she said and shrugged. "Now, will you please let go of me?" she glared pointedly at his tight grip on her arm. People, especially guys, grabbing her like that brought back bad memories and unwanted feelings.

message 27: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Then stop asking to go talk to my dad. He'll probably kill you. If you're lucky, maybe he WON'T kill me," Ty replied, letting go of her arm. He walked on towards Elysium, marveling at how some people wouldn't take the word of someone who dealt with such things from personal experience. "Are we still going or not?" he asked, looking back.

message 28: by Za-za (new)

Za-za | 5023 comments "I can't imagine Hades would kill his beloved son." she said, fishing for information. When Ty let of her arm, she looked at him for a moment. He wasn't like the other guy. She realized that he wasn't cruel like that. "Thanks," she muttered. "And yes, we're going." she hurried after him.

((To Elysium?))

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) ((Yep. You first?))

||Queen of The Cookies||Anti-Cupid|| (cookiequeen217) "I don't know. That Furt might have taken her there to get Macy to talk..." Helyna said starting to hyperventilate now. Helyna stopped herself, she had to hold it together for Maxx, he didn't know his way around this place like she did.

Midnight Rose -Just Another Lost Soul {Does It Matter Who I Really Am Inside?}- | 11121 comments He shook his head, unable to believe the possibility. "No...she has to be here. I mean...right?" Though the more he began to think of the possibilities, the more it sank in, the more he believed it

||Queen of The Cookies||Anti-Cupid|| (cookiequeen217) "Come on" Helyna said grudgingly walking him toward the Fields of Punishment.

Slytherintardis *I stand in the field looking on* "This is the people who are not judged or are ordinary." *I wrinkle my nose* "Please let Hades send me to ."

Kendra (madamejade) | 919 comments More fields, this time filled with very bored spirits.

"Some of these people will be incapable of seeing us," Pir explained as they walked.
"I'm going to have to enter their minds and give them a... jump start, I guess. That's why I needed the warriors from Punishment. I need all of you to form a perimeter around me while I awaken asphodel."
With that, Pir collapsed on the ground in a less-than-dignified manner, vir mind reaching out to contact the souls of Asphodel. A few of them began to slowly join the ranks of escaping ghosts. Most of them held still.

This was about to be the largest army in all of history.

Puddingtalk (Marie) (puddingtalk) | 5154 comments Brad meekly held a rusted sword he had taken from the skeleton solider in the Fields of Punishment. He got in line with the other dead soldiers, watching the scene around him with wide eyes.
"Who is she...?" He asked breathlessly as the spirits began to stir. A strange thrumming of energy surged from the center of the perimeter. More and morel spirits joined the circle. "Oh my gods..." This was not going to end well...

Puddingtalk (Marie) (puddingtalk) | 5154 comments ((So I'm still a little lost on this. Can you explain to me what Pir wants to happen? PM so I can get with the program XD))

message 49: by Kendra (new)

Kendra (madamejade) | 919 comments As awakened spirit after awakened spirit began to join the perimeter, more and more skeleton and ghost warriors attacked the perimeter, trying to stop the attacks. A chanting arose from the awakened spirits of asphodel, ancient Greek. However, the demigods could understand it.
"Eternity we've paid, eternity we've lost. Now we redeem the debt and take back our lives' cost!"
A mental repeat of that was broadcast across Asphodel, the spirits taking up the battle cry as they realized that they had been reduced to almost nothing by Hades. Degraded and angry, they surged forth, unarmed, to attack the army of death.

Sorow was walking through the Fields of Asphodel, staring at the ground, and walking as quickly as possible. Despite being the daughter of Tartarus, she really didn't feel in the mood to bump into a bunch of dead people.
