We never expected that we would grow as large as we have (although we hoped) and therefore, we never set rules in place for our authors self-promoting. Given how many authors we now have, we felt that now is the time to start implementing a few guidelines.

RULES FOR SELF-PROMOTION:

ONE: You may only post one thread per book. If any additional threads are located, all but the original will be deleted.

TWO: You may ONLY PROMOTE IN YOUR POST. If you are found promoting in other authors' threads without their permission, the comments will be deleted. Should this behavior continue, it could result in being banned from the group.

Promoting in other's threads is both disrespectful and discourteous. Doing this takes away exposure that the original poster should receive. We focus on all authors getting equal chances to promote. Every author in this group has ample opportunity to gain notice for their works and there is no need to draw attention from another author.

THIRD: When posting your thread, please be sure to include the following:

Thread/Post Title: Book Title by Author

In the post body, please include:

1. Provide a linkable/clickable book cover
2. A link to the author
3. A basic summary of the book

If you have a problem with the HTML coding involved, please refer to THIS LINK and it will explain the basics for you.

FOURTH: There will be no flaming and disrespect tolerated in the self-promotions. Should you have an issue with an author, please bring it their attention or one of the moderators privately and discretely . Constructive criticism is one thing, but out and out rudeness will not be allowed. Such comments will be deleted as soon as they are discovered! Should this occur, please CONTACT US.

All of our wonderfully talented authors have struggled to get where they are. Let's help them get even further.
