Like you there are series or authors that I will always buy their books, but I prefer to get things free when I can, I'm a SAHM of three kids, every penny counts!

lol I refuse to buy 50 shades of grey! bdsm is not really my thing - combined with when it's somewhat non-con AND the heroine doesn't really like bdsm it's really not my thing. Plus Anastasia sounds really dumb and I heard it's not all that raunchy even though it's defined as "erotica".
Anywhoo I still buy books because my favorite authors books are NEVER free! Don't laugh, but I sometimes buy books that I got for free in pdf form because I prefer them on my kindle app.....

I really wish I went with my gut feeling and didn't buy the Fifty Shades of Grey series! I have to admit I got sucked in to all the hype. And you are right Anastasia IS stupid....But I don't want to get TOO much on this subject here, as it will probably take over and grow like a weed...lol I am going to make a "off subject" thread so I can elaborate more on this :)
I think it is because self consciously I believe that if I pay for a book it is going to be better. Which if any of you have read
Fifty Shades of Grey, you know that is NOT the case.
Now there are books that I will forever buy because, I either LOVE the series or LOVE the author. But, I am only loyal to a few authors so every other book I buy is taking a chance.
Now its YOUR turn....Why do you choose to buy when there are SOOOOOOO many FREE books out there??
